Seeking an EXPERIENCED Manager .....MUST HAVE 3 YEARS PLUS EXPERIENCE

The Ginger Man is located at 64 Greenwich Avenue in downtown Greenwich Ct.

The Ginger Man is an established and growing Classic American Tavern serving a full menu including burgers, steaks, chops, fish, and weekly specials. It features 23 beers on tap, 80+ bottle beer varietals and 100+ bottle wine list.

The Ginger Man is part of an exciting and expanding restaurant group located in Greenwich, CT. The two sister restaurants are called "The Ginger Man" in South Norwalk, CT and "The Cask Republic" in New Haven, CT.

The Cask republic in Bridgport, CT opening in late 2012 as our first Brewery/Restaurant operation

We are seeking a candidate with the following experience, career aspirations, and qualities:

Summary of responsibilities include:

maintain, build and establish guest relations

Manage seasoned professional Waitstaff/Bar Team

hire & train staff, implement training manuals and product knowledge

Scheduling, Ordering, Cost Controls (inventory), payroll, bookeeping

Maintain food, beer & wine menus, pos system, daily specials

Maintain environmental controls in restaurant, light, music, temperature, etc.

Daily operations: store cleanliness, equipment operation & maintenance

Coordination with Executive Chef

Development of catering and take out business

Management of Events/Sponsorships & working with on staff Events Coordinator

Technical Requirements:

PC based Computers, POS systems micros, RMS etc.

Proficient with excel, word & publisher; Peachtree, photoshop and illustrator experience is a plus

Industry certifications: Serv Safe and TIPS certification a plus
